What is the Senior Resource Alliance?

Senior Resource Alliance (SRA) is your local resource for accessing the many services and programs of the state and federal government, available to senior citizens, their caregivers and family members. SRA also is an objective clearinghouse for information and services offered by local, state and national organizations We have been serving our community since 1985.

We are here to answer your questions, explain your options, and help you make informed decisions.

Our Mission

The mission of the Senior Resource Alliance is to enable elders to age with independence and dignity in the setting of their choice. We do this by:
  • providing information and leadership in the community
  • ensuring quality of services delivered to elders
  • advocating for elders' issues
  • developing resources to increase services to elders

Some Facts about the Senior Resource Alliance

  • During the past 20 years, we have served more than 30,000 members of our community through our service provider network.
  • We contract with and monitor service providers in our four-county area that meet a wide range of consumer needs.
  • We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation with an annual budget of more than $20 million.

Our Values

At the Senior Resource Alliance we try not only to meet your needs, but to do so with a spirit of caring. Our values are to:
  • provide older adults and their families easy access to information, services and resources, regardless of their ability to pay
  • improve the quality of life and work for older adults and their families through education and an emphasis on prevention
  • expand the spectrum of care options available to older adults
  • be a responsible steward of state and federal tax dollars
  • foster coordination and collaboration among service providers.

What is the Aging and Disability Resource Center?

The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is not a place; it's a resource that gathers together all the information and services an older adult may need. It simplifies the process of understanding what your needs are and makes sure your needs are addressed quickly. At no charge, you can find information about services you may need and get connected to people and organizations that provide those services. The Aging and Disability Resource Center, managed by the Senior Resource Alliance, provides information and access to services for older adults, their caregivers, and adults over age 18 with mental health needs.
