SRA has been lending our voice to ensuring that Florida's legislators understand how important Community Care for the Elderly (CCE) funding is to seniors and all Floridians. Our advocacy efforts have been centered upon two pillars:

• The first pillar is financial responsibility & accountability
  
  • CCE costs $4,600 a year per senior compared to either Nursing Home Diversion at $18,000 and Nursing Home placement at $30,015 which is Florida's portion.
  
  
• The second pillar, is that all of us want to remain at home for as long as possible
  • CCE is the most efficient and effective method to do so.
